XPS - XtremeLink® 2.4GHz R/C system
I like to introduce here a new exciting 2.4 GHz R/C system with excellent options and functions !
I bean in the R/C hobby since the late 70's and even with the today's top-notch technologies in regard to R/C systems ,
I have bean missing several options I used to have with some of the older style European multi-channel systems .
Since my move to the US I had to encounter
that there are not to many options for the ground-guys in regard to multi-channel R/C systems .
That's why a lot of them ended up using either 72 MHz fly-boys R/C systems ,
or using the European 40 MHz and 35 MHz systems .
This is illegal and a safety hazard as well !
Therefore we truck and tank-guys , or the ship-guys ,
bean stuck with the few choices with either the 27 MHz or 75 MHz R/C systems ,
since most of them stop by 6 channel , which in fact in most cases even not 6 fully proportional channels ,
just 4 fully proportional channels and the other 2 are single channel switch channels ,
that's why I consider these type R/C systems just as 4+2 ...
Just in the past few years a few 75 MHz systems with more when just 4 fully proportional channels popped up .
Then the 2.4 Ghz R/C systems showed up , but here again , first targeted for the fly-boys ,
plus it showed incompatibility with some of the Multi-function-devices , like Tamiya's sound/MF units for the trucks and tanks .
Now there is a new kid on the block with some exiting options !
the XPS - XtremeLink® 2.4GHz R/C system ( designed and assembled in the USA ! )

internal 2.4 GHz transmitter module installed in an Graupner FM 6014
this system allows you to reuse your older so beloved R/C systems and convert them over to today's 2.4 Ghz technology !
and this system is compatible with Tamiya's tank + truck MF units !
( I have tested that myself ! )
the fact that this system will work with the Tamiya MF units
and that I can convert my old European style multi-channel systems or almost any transmitter to 2.4 Ghz
are the first 2 big advantages which make this system well worth it !
Since I discovered XPS , I bean in contact with them and received fast and precise answers to all my questions .
So far I have tested the XPS system successfully with the following R/C systems / transmitters :
Graupner FM 4014 ( Nautic-modules not tested yet )
Graupner FM 6014 ( Nautic-modules not tested yet )
Graupner MC-18/20 ( Nautic-modules not tested yet )

XtremeLink® Device Programmer Details
This device and software allows you to wirelessly change the settings of XtremeLink® receivers and transmitter module! It also allows you to update the firmware of receivers and transmitter modules for those units that are in-field upgradable*.
Software is available for download from our website in the DOWNLOADS section.
Requires a USB type A to mini-b cable (commonly used with cell phones and digital cameras). This cable can be selected below.
Applications for RxDiag, TxDiag, Device Programmer, and spectrum analyzer are currently available. Future applications such as support for flight simulators will be released in the future.
